The Problem:
Water Leaking Into Foundation
Water leak locations and problematic foundation cracks are identified. Liftech foundation experts and technicians are professionals at finding and advising all waterproofing solutions at this stage.
Solution Step 1:
Drill Injection Holes Along Cracks
Our technicians drill minimally invasive trategic and precise inection holes that follow the foundation crack(s).
Solution Step 2:
Inject Permeation Foam Sealant
Injecting the chemical foam sealantvalong the perimeter of your home or through the walls of your basement. After injection, the sealant chemical permeates the voids and soil until it reaches groundwater.
Solution Step 3:
Trench Is Filled & Sealed
Once in contact with water, the permeation foam sealant reacts and expands throughout the soil and any existing cracks or unsealed joints in the basement wall. The result stops water intrusion from it’s erroded & cracked entry points.
Stop Water Leaking Into Your Foundation
Permeation foam sealant is an environmentally safe chemical treatment solution that creates a non-permeable soil and polyurethane matrix that stops water from entering your basement. It works by injecting the foam sealant along the perimeter of your home, or through the walls of your basement. After injection, the chemical foam sealant permeates the voids and soil until it reaches groundwater. Afterward, the chemical reacts and expands throughout the soil and any existing cracks or unsealed joints in the basement wall. TThe result stops water intrusion from it’s erroded & cracked entry points. It’s a long-lasting solution that is quickly installed and minimizes impact to your home.

Foundation Crack Leak F.A.Q.
Frequently asked questions about waterproofing, the products Liftech uses, and more!
What does Liftech inject into leaking foundation cracks?
The techincal answer, Terra-Lok 24-120 Single-Compontent Polyurethane. A low viscosity single component hydrophobic polyurethane used for increasing the load bearing capacity of loosely bound soils, filling voids and I/I mitigation.
In laymen’s terms, it’s special type of long-lasting “grout” that can be injected through injection holes & will seal water leaks. It’s the same material used to repair sea-walls, so imagine how well it can work for your home. It’s going to “follow” and react to ground water, sealing up the loose soil. It’s awesome and the highest grade solution to sealing water leak entry points.
Is your waterproofing material safe for the environment, my family and landscaping?
Yup, totally safe for your family and home. Our materials will not add anything toxic into the soils or air. Our waterproofing poly is built for Seawall repair and for sealing city water lines – so it’s sbujected to the highest of water safetfy and health standards.
I have foundation cracks, but they are not leaking water yet. How should I monitor the cracks?
Monitoring the width of foundation cracks is ultimately the best way to avoid costly foundation repairs. Find 90-degree corners in your home where cracks originate, and measure the width of the cracks twice — for good measure, of course. Repeat this process frequently. If you notice a crack beginning to widen and one end, or the crack you’re measuring is a half-inch or wider, it’s time to get a professional foundation inspection. How do you fix drainage problems around foundation?
The quickest, easiest way to improve foundation water issues is by directing water away from your foundation. Many and most times, simple preventative measures does the trick. For instance:
- Install diverters that direct water away from the soil around your foundation.
- Add drain extenders to the bottom of your rain gutters directing water at a safe enough distance. Atleast 3 feet.
- Confirm the soil grading next to your home foundation directs water away.
